On June 16, during the World Transportation Conference, the 2019 China Highway Society World Footbridge Award award ceremony was held as scheduled at the Beijing National Convention Center. The Nanjing Youth Olympics Sports Park across the river bridge designed by the Transportation Design Team of Southeast University won the gold medal. Chairman of the China Highway Society, Weng Mengyong, presented the award to the Southeast University team.
