The 2nd Forum for Young Professionals in Traffic Engineering and Management has been successfully held by School of Transportation, Southeast University on April 13, 2019. The forum has attracted more than 150 participants from about 40 universities and enterprises around the country. The opening ceremony was directed by Professor Zhibin Li, and Professor Jun Chen, vice dean of the school, gave the opening speech which welcomed all guests and thanked the long support of transportation professionals. Professor Zhengbing He, on behalf of the forum organization committee, gave a brief explanation about the unique characteristics of the form and introduced the committee members. The forum chair in the morning and afternoon was Professor Jiahu (Tongji University), Chuan Ding (Beiyang University), and Ning Jia (Tianjing University). The invited speakers were Professor Xiaolei Wang (Tongji University), Fang He (Tsinghua University), Jia Yao (Harbin Institute of Technology), Wanjing Ma (Tongji University), Peng Chen (Beihang University), Lili Lu (Ningbo University), Jianjun Wu (Beijing Jiaotong University), Nan Zheng (Monash University), Ying Lv (Beijing Jiaotong University), Changxi Ma (Lanzhou Jiaotong University), Qige Qi (Beijing Jiaotong University), and Zhiyuan Liu (Southeast University). The forum aims at providing a platform for academic communication of young transportation researchers in transportation engineering and management, in order to promote the collaboration of young researchers and improve the global impact of transportation research of China.
