On June 9th, the awarding ceremony of Honorary Academy Award of International Chinese Transportation Discipline was held in Zhongda Hall，Liuyuan Hotel of Southeast University. Professor Xu Jiqian won the prize. The ceremony was hosted by Professor Chen Jun, vice dean of the School of Transportation. Professor Qiao Fengxiang,chairman of ICTPA, professor Wu Gang,vice president of SEU,professor Yang Tao, chairman of Nanjing Institure of City & Transport Planning Co.,Ltd., and representatives of teachers and students from School of Transportation participated in the ceremony.
At the beginning, professor Wu Gang congrated on Professor Xu Jiqian's achievement, expressing gratitude for his lifelong contributes and ICTPA's efforts to China's transportation industry. Later Professor Qiao Fengxiang from ICTPA awarded the prize to Professor Xu Jiqian.Student representative Ding Hongliang made a speech, thanking Xu for his continuous efforts in inspiring young people and creating opportunities for them. Teacher representative professor Guo Xiucheng highlighted the Professor Xu's main academic concepts, which are of significant importance of the dvelopment of China's transportation discipline.
At the end of the ceremony, professor Xu Jiqian expressed his gratitude for receiving the award, and put forward his expection for the young generation.
* Honorary Academy Award of International Chinese Transportation Discipline is established by ICTPA (International Chinese Tranportation Professionals Association), aiming to honor distinguished specialists and scholars who have made great contributions to International Chinese Trasportaion Discipline and talent cultivation. Professor Xu Jiqian is one of the first prize winners.
