The 60th Track and Field Meet and the 24th Faculty Sports Meet of Southeast University, in Taoyuan Stadium of Jiulonghu Campus, was held in schedule from April 13 to April 14, 2018. There are 254 members from undergraduates, postgraduates and faculties representing School of Transportation in 16 track and field events and 14 interesting games. Good news came out that School of Transportation defended the undergraduate-group champion in both men’s and women’s group with 458 points and won postgraduate-group champion in both men’s and women’s group with 253 points. Besides, faculty group gained 85.1 points and ranked the 3rd. More importantly, it is the fifth time for School of Transportation wining the title of undergraduate and the second time to defend the team champion in Track and Field Meet of Southeast University. During that time. Chen Yi, deputy dean and deputy secretary of party committee in School of Transportation, Xu Yingquan, athletic director in School of Transportation, and instructors from all grades are present in the competition field to cheer for all athletes from School of Transportation.
The medal tally of School of Transportation was updated all the time by our athletes and finished with No.1 during that time.
“To do the best” is the motto of those athletes from School of Transportation, which show Dare-to-do and Race-to-the-top mien. Here, we just want to express our appreciation to those athletes competing to the last second, all members from sports section sticking to the base camp, support crews from student union and graduate Union. Besides, sincere thanks are also supposed to be delivered to Director Xu, and every students cheering for our athletes. School of Transportation is always a warm harbor letting us feel at home. Last but not least, we are proud of being a member of School of Transportation as a community of common destiny.
